In 2011, we purchased an 11,500 sq. ft. building at 239 Firehole Ave. (the corner of Highway 20 and Electric St.) and established it as the central location for our operations. Our Board of Directors conducts business here, and the multi-use building enhances our local economy by offering rental space to a few residents and businesses.
The building is also home to the Yellowstone Studies Center (YSC). As operations manager for the YSC, we provide the venue, educational opportunities, and support services for elementary, middle and high school, college, and university students, teachers, and professors as well as other educational groups who take part in experiential teaching and learning in West Yellowstone and Yellowstone National Park. Use of chairs, 6′ and 8′ tables, and 60″ television monitor or projector and projector screen, portable whiteboard and flip chart. Access to the central lounge seating area, food preparation area w/ ample counter space, sink, 2 refrigerators, electric stove/oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, crockpots, electric skillet, griddles, pots and pans, dishes, and silverware for up to 40 people, utensils, knife set, unisex restroom, separate men’s and women’s restrooms with 2 showers each.
Small Meeting / Event Room
Enclosed room 12’ x 24’6”, 294 sq. ft. Seats about 20 classroom style with tables. Seats about 30 theater-style without tables. Wi-Fi access. Use of chairs, 6′ and 8′ tables, and 60″ television monitor or projector and projector screen, and a wall-mounted whiteboard. Access to the same areas as mentioned above.

Payment of West Yellowstone Resort Tax Bond for Special Events
In support of our mission, we’ll consider partnering with an individual or organization sponsoring a special event in the Town of West Yellowstone or the surrounding Hebgen Lake Basin. We’ll pay the required $1500 West Yellowstone Resort Tax Bond. In return, the sponsor individual or organization will pay us an amount of 10% of the Bond ($150) for the use of the funds and complete or fulfill all other documentation or requirements of the Town to sponsor this event. Both payments will be made at the same time that an event’s Exposition License Application is submitted to the town.
